What to do now

  1. Step 1: Register on SAM.gov to get a UEI number (it can take weeks)
  2. Step 2: Get a vulnerability or risk assessment for each site (local law enforcement or CISA can help)
  3. Step 3: Check that what you want to buy is on the Authorized Equipment List
  4. Step 4: Watch ADEM's page for the next round, then submit the Investment Justification (application)
  5. Step 5: Don't buy anything until you get the EHP approval and Release to Spend letters

  • A current vulnerability/risk assessment for each site
