Who can apply

“Arkansas high school students (public, private, home school, and dually enrolled) in grades 9-12 are eligible to receive A2A funding.”
In the funder’s own words, from sams.adhe.edu, checked Oct 5, 2026.

This is student money, so the school's tax status doesn't matter. The FAQ adds that “tuition responsibility may vary depending on the student’s school type.” Students must be Arkansas residents enrolled in a concurrent course and keep a 2.50 college GPA. Starting with the class of 2028, hours paid by A2A count against the student's Academic Challenge Scholarship in 30-hour blocks.
