Who can apply
“These grants are awarded to schools and nonprofit or governmental organizations and institutions to help support projects that advance the goal of arts as a basic part of education.”
That's the Arts Curriculum Project wording; the in-school residency and mini-grant descriptions also describe work in schools. Artists must come from the Arts in Education Artist Roster. The Council won't fund “Deficits or start-up costs for new organizations,” “busses for field trips,” or faculty salaries. Major grants need a 1:1 match (half can be in-kind).
