Schools can also qualify if they are “Government recognized, formally accredited.” Canva's list of people who can't use it includes “Homeschool educators who are not licensed or currently employed with a K-12 institution,” parents, private tutors and groups running activities outside school. Nothing is said about whether the school is a nonprofit or a business. Teachers re-verify every 3 years.
