Who can apply

“All applicants must have nonprofit status. Grants are limited to programs serving children kindergarten through grade 12.”

Your group raises the rest of the cost and has one year to do it. Money goes only toward quality string instruments (violins, violas, cellos, basses, plus ukuleles and guitars) through the foundation's instrument provider. You must show need and send your IRS letter and two letters of support.

  • Instruments bought through the foundation's provider

Timing

Applications are taken quarterly. Deadlines are June 30, September 30, December 31 and March 31.
