Who can apply

“These grant funds are only available to public and private schools served by CEC.”
In the funder’s own words, from covington.coop, checked Oct 20, 2026.

Private schools are named outright. Only individual teachers can apply (no team grants). The principal must sign. The project must be hands-on and highly interactive. It will not pay for equipment or capital items like iPads, computers, printers, furniture or software. Nothing addresses religious or for-profit schools.

  • Individual teachers only, no team grants
  • Principal's signature on the application
  • One application per project per school
  • Project must be hands-on and highly interactive
  • Proof of completion by the end of the school year
  • No equipment or capital investments

Timing

The 2026-2027 application must be submitted or postmarked by Nov. 6, 2026. The page says past applicants were told about awards in December.
