Who can apply

“be enrolled in a private or public elementary or secondary school (grades K-12) or a home school (grades K-12) in the United States”
In the funder’s own words, from doodleforgoogle.doodles.google, checked Oct 9, 2026.

Students draw their own Google logo on the year's theme. Entries are sent in by a parent, guardian, teacher or program leader. The $50,000 goes toward a computer lab or technology program at the winner's school. If the winner is homeschooled, the homeschool gets a $5,000 check and the winner can direct $45,000 to a public library, public school or 501(c)(3) in their community. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
