The family must be a current HSLDA member, show significant financial need, and have homeschooled a child aged 6–19 for at least 3 months.

Timing

Three windows a year: January 1–February 28, April 1–June 30 and September 1–October 31 (this fall it was closed Sept 1–30 for a system update and reopened Oct 1).
