Who can apply

“Any individual teacher or school in Idaho, or non-profits wanting to do projects which focus on K-12 teachers in Idaho can apply.”
In the funder’s own words, from idahohumanities.org, checked Oct 28, 2026.

Humanities projects for K-12 teachers (history, literature, civics and similar). IHC may give preference to individual teachers and to public schools over private schools. No 'private programs', advocacy, meals or art-making costs. Partner letters and a UEI (or SSN for individuals) needed. Religious organizations are listed as eligible applicants (faith: open). Paid to: the teacher or school. Projects last up to six months; IHC awards at most 2 grants per organization per year, and money depends on what is left in the year.
