Who can apply

“…to city and county governments, schools, nonprofits, civic groups and businesses working to make Arkansas cleaner, greener and more beautiful.”
In the funder’s own words, from keeparkansasbeautiful.com, checked Oct 5, 2026.

Businesses are named, so a for-profit school can apply. The project must fit one of four areas: beautification and eco-restoration, litter prevention, recycling and waste reduction, or environmental education for Arkansas students. It pays you back after you spend. Food, drinks and large construction aren't covered.

  • Project fits one of KAB's four focus areas
  • Reimbursement: you spend first, then get paid back
  • At least one photo of the project site, a budget and a timeline
  • Report your results, with photos, at the end

Timing

Two rounds a year: Winter, January 1 to February 15, and Summer, August 3 to September 12. The summer round is closed and under review, so the next window is the winter round.
