Who can apply

“Licensed teachers who actively work in a classroom are encouraged to apply.”
In the funder’s own words, from naeir.org, checked Oct 10, 2026.

NAEIR passes on donated overstock (pens, pencils, art supplies, books, stickers) from companies like Crayola and 3M. Joining is free, but teachers pay a small handling fee for each item they pick. NAEIR says teachers generally pay less than a third of discount-store prices. Items must be used in the classroom and can't be resold.

  • Teacher who works in a classroom (NAEIR asks for licensed teachers)
  • Items used only in your classroom, never resold
  • Place an order at least once every two years to stay active

Timing

Apply any time. New members can't shop until NAEIR approves the application.
