Who can apply

“Applicants must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience … and must teach in a public or private school in the United States”

Applicants must be classroom teachers who teach science, with at least 8 years of science teaching (not counting this school year). One winner gets $10,000; the winner and two finalists get a paid trip to the NSTA conference. You can apply yourself or nominate a colleague.
