How to apply

  1. Step 1: Form a team of 2–4 students and pick a coach
  2. Step 2: Read the rules and the format for your grade category
  3. Step 3: Write the abstract, project description, bibliography and flyers
  4. Step 4: Coach registers and submits online by January 27, 2027

Students enter as a team of 2–4 with a coach (a teacher, youth leader or parent) who is at least 21. Prizes go to the students, not the school. Regional winners get a technology prize and their school gets a banner. This is a different program from the Toshiba America Foundation grants.

The coach submits the project online by 8:00 p.m. Eastern, January 27, 2027.
