A student's scholarship list in Homebook: search box, filters for due in 30 days, Arkansas, no essay, need-based and merit, and a scholarship with its deadline and a Save to my list button. Sample student.

Three pieces, one login.

It all runs inside Homebook. Nothing for students to set up and no second account.

1

The career quiz

Fifteen questions, built on the RIASEC interest model. Each student gets an interest profile and sees how they line up with four paths: a 4-year college, a 2-year start, the trades, or the military. Careers to look at and Arkansas schools and programs come with it. Students retake it each year.

2

Scholarships and deadlines

Scholarships and Arkansas college deadlines from Bright Pathway's list, which Bright Pathway updates daily. Students save the ones they want and mark where each one stands, so nothing gets lost the week it is due.

3

The staff progress view

One screen shows who has finished the quiz, who is tracking scholarships, and what is due next. Tap a student for a summary. Directors see the whole school; teachers see their own students.

You see who has finished, and what is due.

No chasing students for updates, and no spreadsheet of deadlines. Turn it on for the grades you want, and the progress view fills in as students use it.

  • ✓Turn it on per grade, 9 through 12, in any mix
  • ✓A student in a grade that is off does not see it at all
  • ✓Next deadline and scholarships in progress, school-wide

The College & Career staff view: switches to turn it on for grades 9 to 12, tiles showing 6 of 10 students finished the career quiz and 4 of 10 tracking scholarships, a student table with quiz status, top path and scholarships tracked, and a Coming up list of scholarship deadlines. Sample students.

Students use it on a phone, with their own login.

A student opens Homebook the way they always do and finds College & Career in their portal. They take the quiz, read their results, search scholarships by deadline, state or whether an essay is required, and save the ones worth a shot.

  • ✓Filters for due soon, Arkansas, no essay, need-based and merit
  • ✓A personal list with a status on each scholarship
  • ✓Official sponsor pages one tap away
Quiz results: Paths that fit you, with bars for 4-Year College 31 percent, Trades and Technical 27 percent, 2-Year College Start 21 percent and Military 21 percent. Sample student.

Simple to turn on.

No import, no new accounts, no training day.

1

Choose your grades

A director switches College & Career on for grades 9, 10, 11 and 12, together or one at a time.

2

Students sign in as usual

Same Homebook login they use today. The quiz and the scholarship list are waiting in their portal.

3

Staff check progress

The progress view shows who has finished and who is tracking. Follow up with the students who have not started.

An optional add-on, paid for by the school.

Schools purchase College & Career for the students they enroll in it. A school may collect the cost from families however it likes, but payment comes from the school. Bright Pathway's own curriculum, which families buy directly from Bright Pathway, is separate. Pricing is not published yet.

Many small schools have no counselor.

A microschool or a small private school can do a lot right and still have nobody whose whole job is helping a sixteen-year-old figure out what comes after graduation. Seniors miss scholarship deadlines. Sophomores hear about trade programs from a cousin.

College & Career gives every student in grades 9 to 12 a place to start, and gives you a way to see who has started.

Bright Pathway Future Ready Academy is its own company. Homebook is partnering with it, not replacing it.

Student data stays in Homebook.

Bright Pathway receives no student records.

Quiz answers, saved scholarships and progress are stored in Homebook, where the rest of your school's records already live. Scholarship links open the sponsor's own page, and nothing about your students is sent to scholarship sites.

Before any student uses College & Career, the Homebook privacy policy will get a section that spells out exactly what it collects and who can see it.
