Switching from Gradelink
We moved a Gradelink school over one weekend. Teachers took roll Tuesday morning.
Gradelink is a fine system — Star City Christian Academy ran on it for a year. They switched to Homebook because they wanted one flat price, faster help, and software that already speaks Arkansas EFA and ClassWallet. Eighty-three students moved over one weekend; teachers took roll here Tuesday morning.
“Homebook has truly made Star City Christian Academy more successful. Every request I’ve had has been accomplished above and beyond. Give it a try — you won’t be disappointed.”

The weekend migration, step by step
- You export from Gradelink (roster + the transcript export). Ten minutes, we send instructions.
- We load and reconcile everything — students, guardians, teachers, historical grades — and show you the counts to approve.
- Teachers get a 10-minute guide. Families get printed QR slips to join the portal.
- Monday training, Tuesday live. We watch the first week and fix anything the same day.
